This feels like such a time of deadlines and goals and schedules... it's such a relief when we reach a goal or meet a deadline that we can cross off our list! Our focus at the moment is on a few fundraisers that will allow us to make two trips to Uganda (required) in the next four months or so and bring our kids home. Below is a brief update on our fundraising activities and goals:
Brittany's Hope matching grant: Almost there! We are just a few hundred dollars away from meeting our goal of $1500. Not only are donations tax deductible with this grant, but each donation is doubled in a grant back to us. Thank you to all that have donated and helped us in nearly reaching this goal!
Kahawa For Kids: 20 bags of coffee sold! Thank you! Our goal is 100 bags in the next couple of months. I'm still waiting for someone to try the Ugandan blend and let me know what it's like :)
$1 Sale: We are currently seeking donations of used goods for our huge $1 Sale on June 18th! If you have items to contribute, we'd be happy to pick them up. Our goal is 2,000 items sold!
Both Hands Project: We are finalizing details for our Both Hands Project and will be announcing it soon! Our target date for this project is July 9th, so watch for information soon.
Thank you isn't enough, but it is sincerely extended for the support (in a variety of ways) that has been given to us over the last few months. We look forward to continued corroboration as we work to bring our kids home!
